Hi Audesse team.

I’m trying to access the Non volatile memory of the s32k344 on the FCE boards but I haven’t been able to do so yet. We are trying to use the Memory blocks found in the MBDT but that is only storing the data temporarily. We found some resources that indicate toward needing to use the FEE and FLS drivers in the configuration, but we haven’t been able to figure that part out yet and we keep getting errors when building. Can you help us to configure and use the memory for this purpose.

Hi Nikhil,

NVM access is not something that is supported automatically in Simulink. Getting it to work properly would be a combination of linker changes like the ones that are done for the CAN flasher, and some “System Update” blocks to inject C functions into the code. Is your use case storing calibration values?

Yes, our use case is for storing calibratable parameters. Can you guide me on how we can go about adding these to our software?
