Audesse announces OVIN R&D support
KITCHENER, November 09 – Audesse is happy to announce it has received an OVIN Connected and Autonomous R&D Partnership Fund for our project with Airport Technologies. In partnership with Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN), led by the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI), Audesse has received support to complete the project entitled “Connected Vehicle Controller and Cloud Demonstration.”
“During past decade, through the growth of the transportation industry and development of technology, new industrial needs have emerged. In vehicle fleets with many active vehicles, vehicle breakdowns can significantly disorganize or disrupt the service provided by that vehicle and fleet,” says Rhyse Maryniuk, (CEO) from Audesse.
To date, the remedy to such accidents was towing the vehicle back to the shop or sending a specialized technicians to the vehicle to only diagnose the issue and then attempt to remedy the problem. However, this solution is costly, both in terms of cash requirements and time lost.
A large opportunity for savings exists if the vehicle could be monitored, diagnosed, and fixed remotely though enabling fleet staff to remotely connect to their vehicles as if they were there in person.
