The IMU has been directly connected to the MCU. In order to control the sensor and collect readings, simply send the appropriate SPI commands to the IMU, we recommend referencing the FlexCase and IMU datasheets to setup communications.
Additional Information
The IMU is highly configurable. Using similar control commands, other features can be configured such as:
- Configure hardware filters
- Change the acceleration/rotational speed limits
- Configure capture mode
- Detect acceleration events (orientation change, free-fall, wake-up)
- Generate hardware interrupts
